Paradise Soundsystem Logo

Paradise Sound System is our very own in-house label dedicated to #BuildBridges from #AfricaToTheWorld though out its releases!

Since 2020 we support both, South African artists dedicated to bringing their sound into the World, as well as international artists adapting the sounds into their own music and bringing it back to Africa.

It is home to releases and artists such as Zakes Bantwini’s Ghetto King album, Unexpected Feels by Thakzin, Marcus Harvey, Namakau Star & many more...

Our Mission:
Building Bridges

Our Building Bridges initiative establishes connections between different communities, cultures, or individuals within Africa and extended to the rest of the world with open and honest communication, sharing common experiences and values, and promoting understanding and empathy through music and knowledge exchange.

“The goal of building bridges is to bring people together, break down barriers, and foster more inclusive and harmonious relationships within our music community”

#BuildingBridges in Action:
Behind the scenes of "Izinto"

We partnered up with the Africa Rising Music Conference to invite local South African artists, Toshi, DJ Dreas, Thandi Draai to join studio sessions with European artists such as Jamie, Blindsmyth, Megablast, and MOBLACK.

Hosting these sessions at Flames Studios, considered by many to be "where the Flame of Democracy Burns", we aim to continue the narrative of international collaboration through music!

Our Mission:
Supporting Upcoming, Independent & female artists

Together with Women in Music South Africa, & Trace Southern Africa we launched the Searching For Paradise Competition, calling all emerging women identifying artists and bands to submit one of their works to be released on a Compilation together.

In line with the ethos of Women in Music South Africa (WIMSA), the “Searching for Paradise” call aimed to advance the awareness, equality, diversity, heritage, opportunities, and cultural aspects of women in the musical arts through education, support, empowerment, and recognition.

“This competition has given me even more confidence in myself as a niche artist. I believe that this platform helps me on my journey to prove to the mainstream music industry, that it’s possible for an artist who refuses to follow the norm can be successful and will be seen as a leading artist among fellow peers in the entertainment industry.”

– Don Calya, winner of Searching for Paradise
